The Birdman Triathlon

Victor and Javiera Lorca, the ones who defeated terrorists in "The Navel of the World" and kidnappers in "A Moai Walks into a Tiki Bar," are now facing their toughest opponent yet: reality TV. In 2021, as the Covid-19 Pandemic begins to wind down, Victor and Javiera devise a plan to revive tourism on Rapa Nui: organize a triathlon that pays tribute to the ancient Birdman Ceremony that took place on the island centuries ago. Hundreds of athletes sign up and arrive to compete, but when one of the competitors dies under suspicious circumstances, things take a dark turn. As if that weren't enough, they also have to contend with the demands of a Hollywood TV crew, death threats, vengeful bikini-wearing individuals, and ocean currents that could sweep away a blue whale. The drama on this secluded island is larger than life. Can Victor, Javiera, and their friend Cameron from Hawaii keep the remaining visitors safe until they reach the finish line at Orongo? Loco, the street dog turned house pet, makes a return as the narrator, recounting every heart-stopping moment of "The Birdman Triathlon!"
